The environmental solution.
It is a widely known fact that the U.S. residential population has stock piled computers, monitors and related equipment in the tens of millions of units for the past decade. The TV Take Back (TvTB) campaign is based on the premise that a sufficient need now exists in the North American market for the collection of e-waste products which will otherwise end up in landfills or incinerators.Holding 1-day e-waste collection events provides a unique opportunity to pull obsolete, or unused consumer electronics out of households and into the recycling stream where many green collar jobs are being created. In addition, recycling e-waste products means keeping many dangerous toxins from leaching into ground water supplies while providing an opportunity to recover vast amounts of precious metals and other components used in the manufacturing of most electronic equipment.
In order to insure the proper disposal of all e-waste products collected during the events Paragon Green and our e-waste down-stream partners are compliant with all federal and state e-waste regulations.
Paragon Green is committed to providing responsible solutions for solving the global e-waste crisis. Together, with our downstream partners, we are dedicated to reducing the environmental impact of all electronic waste by supporting efforts to reduce, reclaim, re-engineer, reuse and recycle all materials collected through our community recycling events.
